OFSTED report

OFSTED

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services, and Skills.  It is the government organisation tasked with inspecting and regulating care for children and young people.  This includes inspecting educational facilities for learners of any age.

St. Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Bingley was inspected on 22nd and 23rd October 2024. The inspection was a Section 8 inspection which examines whether the school has taken effective action to maintain the standards judged at their previous inspection (2020). The school then achieved:

Quality of education GOOD

Behaviour and attitudes OUTSTANDING

Personal development OUTSTANDING

Leadership and management GOOD

Safeguarding was effective.

Please note: There is no longer an ‘overall effectiveness’ grade.

The school has maintained all of these standards, so the judgements remain. I am sure you will agree that the school works very hard to help the children be the best they can be! We are particularly pleased that the school was described as having an ‘inclusive culture of care’ and that behaviour and personal development are still judged to be 'outstanding'. You can access the Ofsted report HERE.

Parent View

Parent View is an online survey tool by Ofsted, that gives parents/carers the chance to tell us (and Ofsted) what you think about our school.  Parent View asks for your opinion about different aspects of your child's school.  Ofsted use the information you provide when making decisions about which schools to inspect, and when.  By sharing your views, you will be helping us to further improve.  You will also be able to see what other parents have said about our school.

The Governing Body actively encourage as many parents/carers as possible to log onto the Parent View website by clicking on the icon below and complete the online survey.  We really appreciate your time to do this, and regularly evaluate the results to further improve our school.
